Most of the organizations face difficulties to clean up the large public folders as it contains huge data. Then the need arises to move those data to the proper destination. This is a challenging one. It completely based on the proper migration planning.
Shared Mailboxes:
Shared mailbox is the one best destination option for the Public folders. It helps to access the information centrally for a group of employees within an organization. Most of the organization uses this facility to share common information like Calendar events, Contacts, Tasks etc. They don’t need separate license. But the user who wishes to access the shared mailbox should have Office 365 license.
