When we have a cell phone, we can do all kinds of things with it including looking up dinner recipes for the Saturday gathering or finding out what the weather is going to be like in Jonesboro. Place Emergency and Other Important Numbers In Your Cell Phone
Many people already have their friends and family in their cell phone's contact list and you are probably no exception. However, do you have the 911 number listed in your cell phone contact list? Many people don't and should. However, in some circumstances, this isn't the only number you need to be calling in cases of emergency.
For instance, if you are in college and live on campus or you happen to work in an office building with a security department, it's best to have the number of the security guys in your used cell phone as well. Once you've done contacted the security folks then you can 911, if you think these officers need additional help.
Don't forget that there are other numbers you need to include such as your pet's veterinarian, the mechanic shop for your car or if your state has one... the emergency roadside assistance number.

Messages you can write out include "Call For Help" or "I'm In Trouble, Need Help Now", etc. Save these messages as drafts so you can quickly get access to them. Have a Twitter account? You can send them using your used blackberry so that the message goes out to all the people on your list. Someone is bound to read it and act quickly.
